The ethernet based data transmission and logger requires an ethernet interface controller and the RJ45 with integrated magnetics module.
The ENC28J60 Ethernet controller now available in India.

ENC28J60 is SPI controlled ethernet interface and cna be connected with any controller.
The magjack compatible RJ45 with integrated magnetics removes the need of external transformer and also reduces the size of the ethernet application board.
The controller for ethernet is made by Microchip and is industry proven solution for small size, fast data transfer.
You will have to write / search the TCP/IP stack (also called as driver) for your controller to make it ethernet enabled.
